As if it wasn’t already clear, the Warriors are no longer must-see TV.
The NBA has removed Golden State’s Jan. 10 game against the Clippers at Staples Center from the national TV schedule, replacing it with the Lakers-Mavericks game. This marks the fourth time this season a Warriors game has been removed from national TV.
With Stephen Curry (left hand surgery) and Klay Thompson (left knee surgery) sidelined, the Warriors have struggled, entering Saturday’s game against the Pistons with the league’s second-worst record at 9-27. At the moment, however, Golden State’s Jan. 8 game against the Bucks is still slated to be broadcast by ESPN.
